J. Harry Hibshman Scholarship Fund

Application accepted 2/1/2026 through 4/3/2026

The Hibshman Scholarships are to be awarded to the most deserving high school seniors of Ephrata Borough, Ephrata Township, Akron Borough, and Clay Township, who graduate from Ephrata High School, Ephrata Pennsylvania. The Hibshman Scholarship awards $5,000.00 per student, per year, for up to 4 years to continue the student’s education in any institution of higher learning.

Each applicant will be evaluated based on his or her academic record, financial need, extra- curricular activities, community service, and a mandatory interview by the scholarship committee.

Once awarded, a GPA of 2.00 and full-time enrollment status must be maintained in order to continue receiving the Scholarship annually.
